The prices we pay depend on re-sell-ability* and the following: FOR BOOKS & PAPER ITEMS - demand, availability, popularity, author, title, publisher, age, overall condition. FOR RECORDS and CDs - demand, availability, popularity, artist, title, label, record condition, jacket condition. FOR VIDEOS - demand, availability, popularity, title, condition, condition of cover. * "re-sell-ability" depends on an item's demand versus its availability. In other words, we have to ask ourselves, "How long will this item sit on our shelf before someone buys it from us?" |
